Preston Foster Hall - Introduction

Preston Foster Hall features a collection of very early engines.  This building began as an expansion of the west end of the Susong Building and was intended initially to house engines on display at the 2015 Exposition.  The new building was named in memory of Preston Foster, the first president of Coolspring Power Museum, following his passing in early 2015.  Preston provided much support and advice during the formation of the museum organization.  He was a very active participant in the museum as well as an enthusiastic supporter of this building project.

Preston Foster Hall and the Susong Building together provide a large, climate-controlled exhibit space for a fine collection of engines.
